The Nike SF Air Force 1 Mid OBJ Men's Shoe delivers covert military utility in a classic hoops silhouette. It's made with ballistic nylon, premium leather and a dual-zipper heel for easy entry. This special color pays homage to Odell Beckham Jr.

Standard laces, an ankle strap and a dual-zipper heel work together as a dynamic closure system. This gives you a variety of ways to wear and secure your shoe.

Durable Materials

The heel and tongue are made with a ballistic nylon material. This makes the shoe durable and flexible and gives it a look inspired by military field boots.

  • Welcome to New York

Presented with the choice of forty different shoes, Odell Beckham Jr. quickly gravitated to the yellow SF AF-1 Mid, a sneaker as bodacious and eye catching as the receiver himself. It reminded Odell of the moment before his rookie year when he moved to New York City and looked down at the Manhattan streets for the first time. Accustomed to the sprawling bayous of Louisiana, OBJ was struck by the bright yellow color of taxi cabs snaking through the otherwise gray city. The latest SF AF-1 Mid colorway pays homage to Odell's first "Welcome to New York" moment with a taxi-yellow colorway that stands out on the street, even from several stories up.

    Air Force 1 Origins

This once hoops shoe was named after Air Force One—the aircraft that carries the U.S. President. In 1982, it was the first basketball shoe to house Nike Air, revolutionizing the game while rapidly gaining traction around the world, from the hardwood, to the blacktop, to the core of hip-hop culture. Today, the Air Force 1 stays true to its roots with soft, springy cushioning, but the Nike Air technology takes a backseat to the shoe’s status as an icon.
